Joy Standard School
While the focus of Joy Standard Schools have been on quality and not the size, the schools have grown from 12 students in 1992 to over 1,200 students on two campuses in 2008/2009. Throughout this time of growth, the commitment to Christ and excellence in education has not wavered.
Our small size of 1,200 students as well as staff has allowed us to become a community of learners where every student is known as an individual. Our dedicated staff has committed itself to an innovative teaching style and spirit which embrace the future but still respect our past tradition. Joy standard Schools are schools where respect, strictness, responsibility and relationship drive learning.
True education must be built on, centered in, and continually judged by Christ and the Scriptures.
The Bible must serve as the basis upon which every course and every activity in the school is evaluated. The school’s worldview basic beliefs, assumptions, values, priorities, and biases- must be firmly established upon the principles of God’s Word.
The Bible instruction is integrated with every aspect of the student’s educational experience. In addition to the Bible instruction on the Time table, Joy standard students encounter God’s Word in many other ways. The Bible is the framework for character, attitude, and value development. In addition the Bible is taught through the examples of Joy Standard teachers.
